Coming for the second week in may, thinking of splitting some days- half at water park, half at MK or EP. I was thinking theme park in am to beat the crowds, but same crowd issue may apply at water parks. Would you advise water park or theme park in am?

    Hi, Jen!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question. If you choose to split your days between a theme park and a water park, my advice is to visit a theme park first because they will generally open much earlier than the water parks. That way, you’ll make the most of the first two or three hours of the morning at Magic Kingdom Park or Epcot. Early morning is usually the best time to visit the most popular attractions that become busier as the day goes on.

You could then leave the park around lunchtime and still have about five hours to enjoy Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach water parks during the warmest part of the day. If you’re up for a trip back into one of the parks in the evening, you could hop over for dinner, more attractions or an evening show, which makes for a busy but productive day at the Walt Disney World Resort!

I hope this helps, Jen, and that you have a wonderful vacation! Please feel free to write back with any other questions you may have.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
