We are coming in to run during WDW Marathon week. My girls will be participating in the kids events. I ordered the special ears for them. Are these only kid size ears or can we get them in adult sizes? Thanks.

    Hi, Katie!

Congratulations on your participation in the upcoming runDIsney weekend!

The ears are sized down for children, but the selection of merchandise available does vary from event to event. While adult ears are not available to order in advance, there may very well be a pair of ears to purchase at the Expo (this was true at the 2011 Princess Half Marathon, for example).

The advance-purchase commemorative item for grown-ups was the pin, which is not available for purchase after the initial signup, although there are several different pins for sale at the Expo.

I was pleasantly surprised at the number and variety of Disney-specific items available for purchase at the Expo, on top of the regular selection of running gear. I am sure that the 2012 Expo will offer just as much merchandise, if not more, particularly with the rollout of the new runDisney line.

Maybe we'll see one another at the finish line!

Keep up the training, and I'll --

    See you later, celebrator!
