hi coming to riverside wdw in sept with our two sons aged 4 and 11 for 14 nights we have the qsdp do you think this would meet our needs or should we pay extra to upgrade to tsdp we have booked chef mickeys and calafornia grill already

    Hi Donna!

As a mother of three boys, I know how much food growing kids can eat!  It seems like my grocery bill is multiplied as each month passes - I am going to have to get a second job just to keep up!!!  All joking aside, I think that it is definitely worth the upgrade to the basic plan.  These figures are far from exact, but to upgrade to the basic plan from the Quick Service plan is ABOUT $10 per adult per night and ABOUT $2 per child per night.  Sooo, if you will be there for 14 nights, you are looking at about an extra $450.00 in total for fourteen sit down meals!

If you are already dining at California Grill, you can plan on your bill being pretty hefty.  Between that and Chef Mickey's you are probably looking at food costs of at least $200 - almost half the cost of upgrading to the basic dining plan.  I would give the folks at Disney a call at 1-407-WDISNEY and have them give you the exact cost of the upgrade.  Totally worth it!

    Much pixie dust,
