Hi there, we are coming in for a quick weekend Nov 1 -5 and plan on hitting up the Hall. party on Friday night (we have tix). Boys are 6 & 4. On the Saturday we are planning to do one other park. Any thoughts on which one? Leaning towards AK.

    Hi Cindy!

That sounds like a great plan.  The Halloween Party is a lot of fun.  Be sure to watch the special parade and fireworks show.  Both are absolutely fabulous!

I assume you are going in to the Magic Kingdom during the day of the party, but before the party starts at 7pm, to do a lot of the attractions.  That way you can concentrate on the special party activities during the party itself.  If you are not then you might want to head back to the Magic Kingdom on Saturday.

If, however, you think you will have your fill of the Magic Kingdom after the party then I think you could visit any of the other three theme parks.  However, the party runs until midnight and if you stay to the end, everybody may be tired Saturday morning.  If that's the case then Disney's Animal Kingdom is definitely a good choice because you can definitely enter that park late and not feel like you have missed out on things.  A lot of guests feel that Animal Kingdom is a half day park (though I disagree) and will be ready to leave by mid-day; that makes it perfect if you arrive at mid-day.

Another choice would be to visit Epcot.  Epcot has a reputation for not being the most child friendly park at Walt Disney World, but I think it is fine with young children; it is tweens and teenagers who have the most problems with the park in my opinion.  In any event, I think children of all ages love the activities in the Future World portion of the park and that can easily occupy a whole day.  With young children, be sure to do the Seas with Nemo and Friends and be sure not to miss Turtle Talk with Crush; that is fun for the whole family!

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your decision, and please write back with more questions!
