We are coming from Port Canaveral and staying at Art of animation. Is there a bus that takes passengers from the port to the resort?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Katie!

"Land and sea" vacations are so very magical. Disembarking one of the gorgeous Disney Cruise Line ships is much easier to bear when you know that Walt Disney World Resort is your next destination. I think you're really going to enjoy Disney's Art of Animation Resort. There are so many great photo opportunities at this resort. The ones in the Cars section of the resort are my favorite. Who wouldn't want to cozy up to Lightning McQueen for a picture? Be on the lookout for him near the Cozy Cone Pool.

There are Disney buses that run between Port Canaveral and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. These are considered "ground transfers" and can be booked through Disney Cruise Line or the travel agent you used to book your trip. There is a fee associated with ground transfers but I have found the price worth the comfort and convenience, particularly if I am traveling alone or in a small group.

Do let us know if you have any additional questions about the land or sea portion of your upcoming vacation. My friends and I here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel would love to help you with any questions that may arise as you count down the days to your adventure.

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
