Coming to POR on 8/8. We want to attend a campfire that night but neither POR nor POFQ have one that day. I see the list of other hotels who have campfires. Is there a list, however, showing which days their campfires are on? TY

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Eileen! I adore toasting marshmallows and warming up by the Disney Resort Campfires. Especially over at Fort Wilderness, where campfires are lots of fun with Chip and Dale!

When you arrive at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside, you can check with the Front Desk or the Concierge about Resort Activities and the Times Guide. Often, the guides are sitting in a little standup holder on the Front Desk, where you can just pull a copy and see what you’d like to do on a given day. The campfires can be seasonal or weather permitting, so while there won’t be online or much advance notice, you can still attend the campfires if they are being held with one or two days planning. This past early summer season was quite hot and dry, so all the campfires were put off until surroundings were safer.

I hope you’re able to make s’mores with your friends when you are visiting your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and if you have any more questions about your visit, please let me know! You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
