I am coming into the Pop century on April 5 for 5 nights and heard I had to make pool reservations to use the pools. I also heard that people to reserve this before we got there so I’m needing to know if that is true, and who do I call for this?

Hiya, John! Thanks for surfing on over to planDisney with your question. Let's chat about your groovy visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

My family loves chilling at Disney's Pop Century Resort! You can totally get a vibe from the pop-culture-inspired architecture and decor. And don't miss the tie-dye cheesecake in the Everything POP food court. It's rad, daddy-o!

And of course, my son never misses a chance to take a dip in the Hippy Dippy Pool. John, you can chillax at the pool without a care in the world! As a Guest of Disney's Pop Century Resort, you do not need to make advance reservations to spend some quality pool time. You may find that if the pools get really busy, Cast Members may need to text you with a time that you can come back and enjoy the pool. This is in order to maintain a reduced capacity to keep Guests and Cast Members safe. I don't think this is a regular occurrence, just be aware that it could happen. I'd check the pool hours and try to stroll on over soon after it opens and get your pool fix in early!

Another totally tubular thing about staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort is hopping aboard the Disney Skyliner! Honestly, my husband and son could just ride a gondola around without actually going anywhere (confession: this is exactly what they do!). It's so convenient and fun, and I just know you're going to love i!

I hope this helps your Walt Disney World vacation go swimmingly, John. And be sure to catch us on the flip side if you have any other questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
