    Coming 3/10-3/18. St. Patty's day is as of now our planned AK morning. We have park hoppers.Have a few different reservations at Biergarten but thought it might be fun to eat there on 3/17 night? Have 3 littles with us. Any other fun things to do that day?

    Hello Kristin!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am happy to see you are vacationing in March, we have been many times over your travel dates and always enjoy ourselves.  

    The main celebration for St. Patrick's Day takes place at Downtown Disney.  The celebration is called Mighty St. Patrick's Festival and is on the calendar for March 7-17, 2014.  During the Festival there will be live music, a step by step lesson on how to do the Irish jig, classic Irish food and drinks, Irish history and some merchandise at Raglan Road's Shop.  Kids can enjoy face painting, temporary tattoos and watching the stilt walkers and live statues.  During this celebration kids and adults also have the rare opportunity to take a picture with Kermit, learn to draw him, play games and rock out to a DJ.  This area is called Muppets Mighty Family Zone and sounds perfect for you and your family!  There will also be some 3D chalk art to enjoy.  How cool is that?

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
