    Hello!! We are coming to participate in Marathon 2013 weekend but also want to enjoy the parks, would you recommend staying the week before the marathon or the week after for less crowds in the parks? Thanks

    Hi Jessica,

    I would suggest touring the parks starting on January 5, 2013 and leading up to the Marathon Weekend. This is a really low crowd time for the Walt Disney World parks.

    Crowds are slightly higher the week after the Marathon, although they pick up as Martin Luther King Day approaches.
