We are coming to all 4 parks and 1 water park with all of our grandkids. We have a resort where we are staying which is not part of Disney. Can you buy any kind of meal plan without staying in one of the Disney resorts? Can you bring in snacks to the parks

    Cheryl:

Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel for our thoughts!

What a memory you are creating for your grandchildren!  Unfortunately, the dining plans that Disney offers are only available as part of their Magic Your Way vacation packages that include a Disney hotel stay and park tickets.

However, you are welcome to bring in snacks and drinks to the parks as long as there is no glass, and your tote is smaller than 29 inches.  This gives you a lot of options!  Our family enjoys Fort Wilderness campground, and we bring in snacks and light meals often to the parks in a backpack.  By the time we get tired of carrying the pack on our back, it's lunchtime and it gets emptied!  Well....until we fill it up with souvenirs!

Wishing you and your grandkids a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
