We are coming to the parks on 6/11 and I wanted to carry a backpack for water bottles and sunscreen, etc. Can I bring this in the rides or will we need to leave it some where? Thanks.

    Hey, Kelly-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad you came here for clarification. One thing that Disney Parks does best is to create “an environment…where parents and children could have fun, together.” Walt Disney’s famous words still ring true to this day.

We always bring a backpack full of snacks, sunscreen and water because Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks welcome Guests bringing their own food and supplies. What a fantastic policy to help all Guests enjoy the theme parks! Each attraction should have a basket or pouch to store your backpack. You may also put it on the floor of the attraction vehicle or between your legs. There is always space. Please look through the official theme park rules for more details regarding what is allowed into the parks. The most important restrictions are about alcoholic beverages and glass containers.

Disney Dad Tip: If you want to bring personal items but don't want to carry them around then you may rent lockers for $8-10/day (price subject to change).

Kelly, please pack up your bag, and enjoy making many unforgettable Magical Memories!
