Hiya, Steve,
Welcome to planDisney. I’m excited to help you along your way toward an exciting visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!
As you are aware, each Guest visiting the Disneyland Resort theme parks must have both valid
theme park admission and a
theme park reservation. Because the number of park reservations is limited, some days may run out of availability for one or both theme parks. But that availability can vary. When other Guests need to change their plans, they can cancel their existing park reservations to use their tickets to book new reservations for another day or a different theme park. So it’s worth checking again for updated availability. For example, I currently see only one day that doesn’t have reservations available for
Disneyland Park. But don’t wait. I recommend purchasing tickets and booking park reservations as early as possible. Should you find that your preferred starting park is not available for each day, you may also go back and cancel a reservation and book a new reservation if you see the
theme park reservation availability calendar showing reservations again for your preferred park.
Tony’s Tip: Note that the theme park reservation you book when you purchase your tickets is only for your starting park. If you purchase Park Hopper tickets, you will usually still be able to hop over to the other theme park after 11:00 AM, subject to park capacity. A separate reservation for the other park on the same day is not required with Park Hopper tickets.
Tony’s Tip Times Two: Are you a Guest at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels? If so, you may access
theme park reservations exclusively for hotel Guests. This can often help you find the reservations you are seeking even when the reservations for tickets without a hotel stay are booked up.
I’m wishing on a star that the reservations you are looking for show up the next time you check. I hope you have a magical time, Steve!
