Hi there, Shannon, and welcome to planDisney! I’m very happy to be chatting with you about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! You’ve picked a wonderful place to stay during your vacation, as the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel is within walking distance of both
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Epcot! Having booked a package that includes a Resort Hotel stay and Park Tickets, you’re in for an incredible visit!
I checked with a Cast Member regarding your questions and would love to share what I’ve learned with you. They told me that if you booked your stay directly through Walt Disney World, your tickets will be waiting for you at the Front desk of your Resort. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels do not utilize magic bands as room keys, but you will receive an Admission Card that will serve as both your Park Ticket and room key. However, if you purchase a
MagicBand or already own one, you can easily link your Park Tickets to it via your My Disney Experience account once your Park Tickets are linked to you.
Now, if you purchased your vacation package from another source such as a Travel Agency or Disney Travel Planner, you will likely have received a barcode that you will use to link your Tickets within My Disney Experience or claim your Tickets at the time of check-in. The booking agency more easily handles any specific questions for Tickets and packages booked through a third party. The
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs is a great place to stop by to clarify any questions about your Tickets once your vacation has begun! In fact, while you're there, check out
World of Disney for all the latest MagicBand designs!
Shannon, I hope that this information helps you enjoy a stress-free vacation! Before you depart, check out the
