Hello Bridgette! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It is perfectly fine to bring a small backpack into the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks for your
Endlessly Magical day. On my family trips, I have a specially equipped backpack that includes such items as: snacks, ponchos, changes of clothes, diapers, baby wipes, plastic bags, Disney Trading Pins, water bottles, first-aid kit and autograph books with pens.
The only downside to traveling the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks with a bag is that you will be required to go through security bag checks where a Cast Member will
check the bag for any prohibited items. When my wife and I venture into the Theme Parks without kids, we forego the backpack to bypass the security bag check.
You may also want to check the locations of the
First-Aid centers at the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks and Water Parks. The have over the counter medications and other remedies as well as staffing an on-site nurse during normal park operating hours.
For an even smoother day in the Parks, be sure to book your
Advanced Dining Reservations,
FastPass+ Selections and
Check-in Online using your
My Disney Experience account before your vacation.
Have a Magical Vacation!
