We are coming to Orlando in May for a trip and want to eat at some of the resorts. We will not have park tickets this trip so I was wondering if we will be allowed to dine at the resort restaurants & can we make reservations or do we have to do walk-in?

    Hi Mindy!

The Walt Disney World restaurants certainly welcome all guests to make reservations to dine. Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance so at this time some of the locations and times will be taken. Check the website to see if you can secure a reservation as walk-ups are generally out of luck at Walt Disney World. This is even for the popular resort locations.

I suggest you also take a look at the new Disney Springs dining locations. In the past year some excellent places have opened and many more are still being built. Some of my favorites include the Boathouse and Morimoto's but there are many more to choose from and include just about all kinds of foods from Italian to Mexican to Steaks to Asian. If you can't find a reservation or just want to go and walk around consider dining at Blaze Pizza where they cook up your individual pizza in just minutes and you don't need a reservation. When you are finished there head over to Sprinkles Cupcakes for one of their delicacies or a special sundae.

Even for a quick visit to Walt Disney World you likely won't go away hungry!
