Hi Elizabeth and welcome back to planDisney!
It's so nice that you can add a little Disney magic to your time in Orlando for your conference and so exciting that it's coming up next month!
When you
purchase a multi-day ticket to the Walt Disney World theme parks, you can use them on non-consecutive days within a range and that includes the start date and the end date. When I take a look at a 2-day ticket that starts on October 18th, it looks like your last day to use them will be October 21st, so a 2-day ticket has a 4-day date range. If these dates work for visiting the parks during your conference, hurray! The
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will still be going on during your conference stay, so I hope you are planning on an EPCOT park day during your visit. The offerings at the
Global Marketplaces are delicious this year!
If you are interested in a little Halloween fun,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be going on the night of October 19th and 20th. If you've never been to this special event before, I highly recommend it! I love to see all of my favorite characters dressed up in Halloween costumes and
Mickey's Boo to You Halloween Parade is my top parade in all of Walt Disney World. The gravediggers and ballroom dancers from the Haunted Mansion attraction are so fun to watch as they waltz down the street. The special
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is not to be missed! Let's not forget about the trick-or-treating all around Magic Kingdom Park.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
