I am coming to Orlando for a conference and want to visit DHS. I want to spend one night in a Disney Resort hotel so I can use Early Entry (and get a Rise Genie+ at 7am). Can I "check-in" before 7am to do this? Can I use E.Entry on checkout day?

Hello Jim! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney!

I have to say I've convinced my husband to attend more than one conference in Central Florida just so we had another reason to stop by The Most Magical Place on Earth! I don't blame you one bit for wanting to mix business and pleasure by finishing off your trip with a stop at Disney's Hollywood Studios! I'm sure you're going to have a wonderful time!

There are so many benefits to staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Jim, and it seems like you've figured out my favorite!  I love the fact that not only can Guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels enter each of the four Theme Parks 30 minutes early each day with Early Theme Park Entry, but they also have the ability to purchase their first Individual Lightning Lane selection at 7 a.m. while the general public has to wait until the Park officially opens.  If being one of the first in line for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is what you're aiming for, this is a great way to maximize your chances!

You are certainly welcome to use Early Theme Park Entry, Individual Lightning Lane access through Disney Genie+ Service at 7 a.m. and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours (for Guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts) on both your check-in and check-out days! Remember, you can use Disney Genie+ for "skipping the lines" by booking Lightning Lanes at more than 40 attractions all around the four Theme Parks, but you don't need to have Genie+ access to purchase Individual Lightning Lanes.  If you find that you want to add Genie+ on later in the day, you're also always welcome to do so!

While you're at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I suggest taking a stroll over to Toy Story Land for lunch.  The BBQ Brisket Melt at Woody's Lunch Box is sure to satisfy your hunger and the Banana-Fudge Lunch Box Tart (while I've never had it) sounds SO delicious!  I need to get back to the Resort so I can get my hands on one too!

I hope you have a wonderful conference and side-trip to the Resort! Please come back and visit us again if you have any other questions!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
