I will be coming to one of the water parks on my next stay but am not sure if i should bring my own lifevest for him. do they have them in the park? what is the fee? is it a purchase or rented ? thanks

    Hi, Kelly!

Life jackets are provided at both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon free of charge. You will need to have  your drivers license and leave a refundable deposit.  Guests may not use their own floatation devices, so that is one thing you will not need to pack. If you do not want to bring your own towels to the water park, you can rent a towels for $2 each.

When packing your beach bag for the day, make sure to pack sunglasses, hats, and plenty of sunscreen.

Have a splashing good time at whichever water park you choose!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
