Disney Vacation Club Member! It looks like you will be heading off on an epic land and sea adventure in just a few short days, so let's get right into your question.
There are so many benefits of being a DVC Member, and one of them is access to
Top of the World Lounge - A Villians Lair Atop Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort (can you say that three times fast?!). This is a great spot with gorgeous views of
Magic Kingdom Park and deliciously diabolical drinks and food. DVC Members who are eligible for Membership Extras may access the lounge in a few different ways.
For the nightly fireworks show at Magic Kingdom, there are two separate experiences that Members may reserve up to 60 days in advance. The Wicked Wind Down has a cost associated and features an appetizer, cocktail, and dessert. Members attending this event enjoy a reserved viewing location on an outdoor terrace.
There is also a complimentary fireworks viewing location, and this can also be booked up to 60 days in advance. Margaret, if you have not made a booking for one of the fireworks experiences, you can call
Member Services to inquire about open spots for the dates you'll be at
Walt Disney World Resort. You can also visit the podium at the lounge on the 16th floor of Bay Lake Tower beginning at 6:00 PM on the evening you hope to catch the show.
