Erica from MN Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are coming in October and are looking for a nice restaurant for dinner that meets the following criteria: a) takes reservations b) can reserve a table outside c) has vegetarian options (ideally not just a veggie burger) Thank you!

    Welcome to planDisney, Erica!

I’m so excited to hear that you’ll be making your way to The Most Magical Place on Earth soon! You’re going to have a wonderful time! Oh boy!

As a vegetarian myself, I really enjoy dining at Walt Disney World Resort. Almost every Table Service location has amazing plant-based meals that are unique, filling, and delicious! I’ll list my favorite locations that take reservations, have outdoor seating, and my favorite vegetarian dish from each! (You will need to request the outdoor table upon arrival, Erica. You may have to wait a little longer for your table to be available as outdoor seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.)

    Magic Kingdom Park:
    -Tony’s Town Square Restaurant
    -Appetizer: Caprese or Spinach Dip
-Entrée: Ravioli (Mushroom Ravioli, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Cremini Mushrooms, Romano Cheese, Asparagus and Truffle Cream Sauce)
    -Dessert: Italian Strawberry Shortcake

    EPCOT:
    -Rose & Crown Dining Room
-Appetizer: Coronation Salad or United Kingdom Cheese Platter
-Entrée: Savory Impossible™ Hot Pot: (Seasonal Vegetables in a Plant-based Meat Casserole baked with a mashed potato topping)
    -Dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding

    Disney Springs:
    -Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
-Appetizer: Bee Haven Bay Fried Green Tomatoes
-Entrée: Harvest Salad: (Mixed greens tossed with fire-roasted red peppers and corn, shredded white cheddar cheese, heirloom cherry tomatoes and house-made balsamic dressing. Topped with grilled chicken, avocado, and hushpuppies) (I just ask for it WITHOUT the grilled chicken!)
    -Dessert: Hummingbird Cake

I’d recommend a reservation at each of these restaurants, Erica! Every one of these locations have more than just the listed vegetarian options, and I think you’ll love the selections!

Here are a few honorable mentions that have reservations available, outdoor seating, and are vegetarian-friendly:
    -Via Napoli (EPCOT)
    -Tutto Italia (EPCOT)
    -Frontera Cocina (Disney Springs)
-House of Blues Restaurant and Bar (Disney Springs)
    -Trattoria al Forno (Disney’s BoardWalk)
-Olivia’s Café (Disney’s Old Key West Resort)

I hope you have a lovely trip! If you have additional questions, we’d love to hear from you again at planDisney!
