Welcome back to planDisney, Denise! When a guest returns with another question, we are as excited as Minnie is when she spots her best friend, Daisy!
Now, Denise, let's talk about those
Special Events and Tours. I love that you're looking ahead and dreaming about ways you can uncover more Magic at the Walt Disney World Resort. One of the reasons my family keeps coming back year after yEAR is that there is so much to see and do... like the tours! While I haven't experienced
Disney's Family Magic Tour, my husband and I did take the
Walt Disney: Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour and loved every second! Hearing the stories from the Cast Member and being shown previously overlooked touches had us feeling like we were let in on a few special secrets about the park.
Denise, specific to your question: prior to the closure of the Walt Disney World Resort,
Disney's Family Magic Tour was NOT open on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. Please keep in mind, however, that whenever tours return, the
dates, times and availability are subject to change from previous schedules. While we haven't heard any news yet on the return of these Special Events and Tours, I'll be wishing on a star for you that you're able to enjoy this come October. Should the tours return with different dates than before, you are able to modify your
Disney Park Pass reservation depending upon availability.
Denise, I'll also encourage you to keep a close watch on the
Disney Parks Blog because Tinker Bell will often sprinkle her pixie dust (
and announcements) there first! I know I'll be watching closely for tour announcements as well since I'm hoping to make a few new giant friends on the
Up Close with Rhinos adventure over at
Disney's Animal Kingdom in June.
I hope this helps, Denise, as you are making those fall plans. Please come on back and see us here at planDisney with any other questions you might have. Just consider us your personal Genie, ready to guide you into a
Whole New World.
