Coming in October to celebrate our 15 year anniversary (no kids, woohoo!) and are looking to stay at the Port Orleans Riverside. It shows 2 ways of transportation, boat and bus. My question is, where does the boat travel to? Just to Downtown Disney?

Hi Lisa,

Congratulations on 15 magical years of marriage (and for taking a trip without the kids!) Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside is a wonderful choice for your getaway. Be sure to take an evening stroll around the property. It's so peaceful and beautiful at night. You can also walk over to the French Quarter section of Port Orleans for some beingets.

The Sassagoula River Cruise boats will take you to the Downtown Disney Area. The trip takes approximately 20-25 minutes. Bus transportation is available also available to the Downtown Disney Area and to and from the Port Orleans Resort to the Walt Disney World theme parks and water parks.
