Coming in Oct. 1st time NOT staying in a Disney Hotel..renting a car-- any advice for parking & park hopping?

    Hi there, Janet!

While Walt Disney World transportation is a wonderful part of the Resort experience, a car is definitely the way to go when not staying on Disney property.

You'll have the freedom to come and go as you choose. And you'll only pay to park once per day, no matter how many times you hop around the World (currently, daily parking is $14; prices are subject to change at any time).

With the exception of Magic Kingdom, each Park has its own lot. When you are going between Magic Kingdom and Epcot, however, I would suggest parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center rather than the Epcot lot. even if you start at Epcot. The TTC, as it's known, will be open to correspond with the later Park, usually Magic Kingdom. and you won't run into any lot closure issues.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
