    coming oct 4, DDP ends oct 3. can i add oct 3 to trip and pay for one extra hotel night and receive DDP? I can't actually arrive till the 4th. is that worth it or is that wrong to try? I can't believe I'll miss free dining by 1 day. Thanks for your help

    Hi Gina!  The free dining promotion is so popular and I love it when it works out for my vacation time! Unfortunately, sometimes the dates don't jive with what I've already got booked.  If I don't have my plane tickets already, I will adjust my vacation dates to take advantage of the free dining.  In order for you to get the free dining for your vacation, you would have to physically check in to your hotel on Oct 2, 2013, as that is the last check-in date in which to obtain the free dining.  If you didn't show up for your reservation on that date, even if you've paid in advance, your reservation would be cancelled.  I'm sorry that I don't have more positive news, but I guess they have to have cut-off dates and stick to them in order to make the whole promotion work well for everyone.

    Perhaps next time free dining is offered, it will work out better for your family!  Have a magical day Gina, and I wish you and your family a wonderful vacation at Walt Disney World!
