Hello, Claudine. I'm glad you reached out to us today!
Theme park tickets to the
Walt Disney World Resort are nontransferable and nonrefundable. However, if your plans change, you can typically apply the amount you paid toward a new ticket purchase. If the new tickets are more expensive, you will be responsible for the difference and if they are less expensive, you will not receive a refund for the difference. In short, you won't be able to apply a discount that is currently available to a theme park ticket that is purchased after the current promotion expires. You'll want to keep checking the
Special Offers page of the website to see if a new
Florida Resident promotion is announced. While there is no guarantee that a similar offer will be available
this year,
last year there was a Weekday Magic Ticket that was offered for Florida Residents and they went on sale later in September.
Now I don't know about you but I've been checking the
Disney Parks Blog for any and all announcements on the upcoming
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. This year, it'll take place from August 29th to November 23rd, 2024. They gave us
a little tease of some of the offerings back in April, but since we're already here in August, they are probably gearing up to unveil some more tasty peeks into this amazing festival. In the meantime, I've been eating up
all the details on
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. So if you'll excuse me, I'll just be over here, dreaming of delicious Halloween treats and patiently waiting for Food & Wine tidbits. And then once those tidbits are out there, I'll be over here drooling over the details!
Claudine, have a great October visit to the resort. If you have any other questions,
please feel free to reach out again!
Sometimes our strengths lie beneath the surface,
Matt
