We are coming this Oct and I will be almost 8 mo. preg and traveling with a 4 year old. Which resort would you consider in the mod category? Looking for nicest w best transportation, food etc for our first trip.

    Hi Tracie!

I would recommend the Coronado Springs Resort. This resort is set around a beautiful lake and the scenery and architecture is beautiful. This resort also has a convention center which means that there are added amenities that you won't find at the other moderates such as queen sized beds instead of doubles, a fitness center and a spa.

When we stayed at Coronado last year, my daughter absolutely loved playing in the large sand boxes at The Dig Site located in the main pool area. We would walk there every evening after visiting the parks, and she had lots of fun playing on the playground and in the sand.

The counter service restaurant is called the Pepper Market and has a wide variety of foods to choose from. The Maya Grill is the table service restaurant and is absolutely wonderful - in my opinion it is the best table service restaurant offered at any of the moderate hotels.

Coronado Springs is broken into three different areas, and each has its own quiet pool and bus stop. There is also a bus stop at the main building for a total of four stops. An internal resort shuttle system is available which will get you from place to place within the resort.

I have stayed at this resort twice and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. I hope this helps to make your decision! Have fun planning your first vacation.
