Hi there, Mollie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You're off to a great start on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans, so let's help you get some of those final details nailed down. After all, November seems like a long way away, but just like flying to Neverland, you'll be there before you know it!
When you
buy your tickets, you'll be purchasing the number of days you plan to visit Theme Parks, and not for the individual Parks themselves. In your case, you'd buy 3-Day Tickets, which you could then use to enter any Theme Park you wish each day. If you'd like to visit more than one Park per day, just add the Park Hopper Option and add to the fun!
Park tickets secured, let's talk FastPass+. You'll be able to
reserve FastPass+ times for up to three attractions per day in advance of your trip. Disney Resort hotel Guests can make their FastPass+ selections up to 60 days out; since you're staying offsite, you can start making those FastPass+ reservations 30 days in advance. Just go into your
My Disney Experience account and select "
Get FastPass+" at your 30-day mark to get started.
And here's a tip for you, Mollie: When you're in the Parks, you can add additional FastPass+ selections one at a time after you've used your initial three you planned in advance. How's that for a little extra pixie dust?
Guests staying in a Disney Resort hotel receive complimentary
MagicBands, but they don't come with a ticket purchase. MagicBands are available for purchase in the Parks and make great souvenirs, but you really don't need them. The admission card you receive as your ticket is your key to the magic.
Mollie, November is a practically perfect time to visit Walt Disney World!
The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will still be in full swing, plus you'll be able to
celebrate the holidays at Walt Disney World as it gets all dressed up in its holiday best. I bet you're really excited for November to get here!
I hope I was able to answer your questions, Mollie. If you need more assistance, please come see us again. We love to help!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
