Hi, Sherrie!

Becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder was a fabulous financial decision for our family! We especially love taking advantage of the "room only" discounts that are often available throughout the year.

In order to actually receive the Annual Passholder discount on your Resort hotel reservation, you must have either purchased an Annual Pass voucher online or you must be a Passholder when you make that reservation. If you became a Passholder between now and your vacation, you would be able to make a reservation using the Passholder discount, based on availability of course, and then you could cancel your original reservation. It is correct that you'll be asked to show the Cast Member your Annual Pass upon check-in.

I wish I had better news for you, but I hope this helps with your planning.
