Hi there, Lourainia!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel! I'm excited to see that you're going to Walt Disney World during such a great time of the year! All of the Parks and Resorts will be dressed up in their Holiday best and the decorations are simply gorgeous!
Your 10-day Park Hopper ticket will cover 10 days at the 4 major Theme Parks, so if you do decide that you want to enter one of the Theme Parks on your first or last day, you would need to add another ticket. Keep in mind though, you will also have 10 days worth of "fun visits" on your ticket to use. If the weather is warm, you could go to one of the Water Parks those days. Just keep in mind that there is typically only one of the Water Parks open at a time during that time of the year. You could also go into DisneyQuest using the "fun visits." There is plenty of fun to be had there as well!
When we used to fly into Walt Disney World, my family liked to have a pool day in the middle of our trip. It was such a nice break and we felt all refreshed the next day. We'd head over to Downtown Disney or to
Disney's BoardWalk in the evening for dinner and shopping/entertainment.
Another favorite activity of ours, especially during the Holiday season, is to visit some of the Resort hotels to see their gorgeous decorations. Each Resort has their own beautiful Christmas tree and they're all just lovely. We especially like to visit the Resorts that are along the Magic Kingdom monorail track.
I sure hope this helps and gives you a few more ideas on how to spend your time at the Walt Disney World Resort this Holiday season! Please don't hesitate to write back in if we can help with any other questions you have.
Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
