We are coming in Nov around Thanksgiving. My mother in law is handicapped & I have made several ADR's & was wondering if I might be able to drive us to these vice waiting for a bus or something to accomodate her & her scooter? Thank you.

    Hi Kelly!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

You can drive your own car all over Walt Disney World.  However, for those restaurants in a theme park, you will obviously have to park in a theme park parking lot and then enter the park.  If you can accommodate her scooter in your car then you have nothing to really worry about; if you can't, however, then you should know that it can be a very long walk from the parking lot to a park entrance, even accounting for the parking trams that help move guests to the front of each park.  In the case where you can't accommodate her scooter in your car, you might just want to use Disney transportation.

For the restaurants in the various hotels, you could drive up to the front of the hotel and drop your mother in law off and then self park.  Or you could just valet park at the hotels.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
