Bright Suns, Cassandra, and welcome to planDisney!
What a cool group costume idea! While I do have some good news ahead, keep in mind that even Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi had to leave their lightsabers behind in diplomatic situations, so let’s get into what your path could look like while at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You should be able to ride most attractions at Magic Kingdom Park with your lightsabers in tow. After all, many are able to ride attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios after building their lightsabers at
Savi’s Workshop. But the Cast Members at some attractions may share other options with your party in case the lightsabers are not allowed.
I spoke to a friendly Cast Member about some of their experiences, and they said that their lightsaber was held by a Cast Member at the ride’s exit on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. So, there are various accommodations that you may be given. If not, some members of your galactic crew may have to stay behind when riding an attraction so that they can hold the lightsabers.
AN EXTRA GEM: You may have your sights set on riding
TRON Lightcycle / Run (the Virtual Queue during the party opens at 6 p.m.), but like at the front of the theme park, the lightsabers may not fit in this attraction’s lockers. If your lightsabers are retractable, then you may be good to go, so consider that as an option for the night as well.
May the Force be with you as you explore the many offerings at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It is truly one of my family’s favorite events at Walt Disney World Resort. You will love embracing your characters’ personas and partying the night away. If you have any other questions, Cassandra, please

Magic always,
