We will be coming for 6 nights in July! 2 adults, 2 kids (9&1) Due to budget we will only do 2 days at parks. What parks do you suggest? Went to Magic last year, staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge so we are thinking Epcot and Hollywood. Thanks for the hel

    Lindsay:

I would agree with your leaning to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Because you're staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can head over to the outdoor patio near Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Villas to enjoy the animals. The resort itself allows you to feel like you're enjoying the natural environment of Animal Kingdom.

Epcot offers many attractions, especially in Future World, for your 9-year-old. Soarin' and Test Track are the obvious must-dos, but don't miss Sum of All Thrills where you can build your own plane and then ride it in its simulator or check out the interactive games at the exit of Spaceship Earth. Another favorite is Phineas & Ferb's Adventure.

If your child is a Star Wars fan, Hollywood Studios has lots to offer along with the popular Toy Story Midway Mania and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. But don't miss out on the chance to take your 1-year-old to Disney Junior, Muppets 3-D or get a seat near the front for the Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
