Hi Diane,
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you are planning on a budget. We are here to help!
To determine the most reasonable prices for your visit, you will need to check the exact dates. Search the
resort hotel options and filter by value resort hotel and moderate resort hotel. Although the value resort hotels are often more affordable, the moderate resort hotels typically have more amenities. We consider transportation options as well. For that reason, Disney's Pop Century and Disney's Art of Animation Resorts are two of our favorite value resort hotels because they have access to the
Disney Skyliner in addition to
Walt Disney World® Bus Service.
When choosing a resort hotel, however, we also take into account the value of time. More often than not, we will select a deluxe or deluxe villa resort hotel that is within walking distance to one or more theme parks. On our last visit, we stayed at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and loved being able to walk to Magic Kingdom. We also walked over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort a few mornings for breakfast. Disney's BoardWalk Villas has been another great option because from there we can walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.
Looking at your arrival date, I highly recommend that you reserve that vacation package as soon as possible. You will be in the parks right after the launch of
The World's Most Magical Celebration! HOORAY!!! Check the
Disney Park Pass system park availability calendar for the dates of your visit and then make your park pass reservations once you have theme park tickets or a
vacation package linked in your
My Disney Experience account.
Diane, review the
resort updates as you plan so that you can keep an eye on resort hotels that are reopening prior to your visit. Gather your crew, decide on the
matching shirts, and put your planning in super speed. We cannot wait to welcome you to a world of magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
