Hiya Tiffany!
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your deliciously fun dining plan question! I have to say how exciting it is that you'll be trading the Louisiana Bayou for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom next week! What a magical way to celebrate summer in true Princess and the Frog fashion. My family rode it recently and loved every splash-filled second!
Now, let’s swirl right into your question. You will be happy to know that, when using the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, Guests can choose one non-alcoholic beverage with their meal, including specialty drinks like milkshakes, smoothies, hot chocolate, soda, or coffee. So yes, a milkshake totally counts—how sweet is that?
While there are over 100 quick-service locations across Disney World, here are a few of my favorite spots to snag a milkshake:
- Connections Eatery in EPCOT offers a Belgian Chocolate Gelato Shake and a Madagascar Vanilla Milkshake that are so rich and dreamy that you’ll feel like you’re floating through World Discovery!
- Over at Restaurantosaurus in Animal Kingdom, you can find a Strawberry-Vanilla Shake with glazed doughnut holes on top! It’s practically a celebration in a cup.
- And at Dockside Diner in Hollywood Studios, they’ve got the classics—chocolate and vanilla—but keep an eye out for seasonal offerings too! Right now, they’re serving a Stitch-inspired Cute and Fluffy Milkshake—a coconut-vanilla blend swirled with ube-marshmallow cream. It’s as adorable as it is delicious.
Since specialty beverages can change, I definitely recommend using your
My Disney Experience app while you’re in the parks. This will allow you to
mobile order ahead of time (huge time saver!). Also, before your visit,
check out the website, where you can filter by locations that accept the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan and preview menus to see what milkshake magic is being served that day.
Tiffany, I hope this helps as you sip and snack your way through the parks! If you have any other questions, feel free to visit us again.
See you real soon,
Christina
