Hi!! Coming there next week and getting baby's 1st haircut! Also have purchased Memory Maker. Do you think there's any way to get a photopass photographer to come inside and shoot photos? I bet no, but holding him down to cooperate & getting pics=hard

    Hi, Lori!

You must be so excited to have your little guy's first haircut at Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park! This has to be one of my very favorite things to see and do! See, both of my kids like to have their haircuts there and we often see a little one having their very first haircut. In fact, my little nephew had his last year and he didn't want to sit still for a second.

While there are no PhotoPass Photographers inside of the very small Barber Shop, all of the Cast Members are simply fabulous with doing everything humanly possible to safely cut your child's hair. We've seen them do everything from putting Mickey Mouse stickers up and down their arms and legs to putting them on their own cheeks so the little one can see them. They also have lots of spinny, light-up toys that tend to distract the little ones too. It's definitely a joint effort sometimes, but the Cast Member who stands at the cash register will even come over to help if necessary. They really are fabulous and they do this so many times a day that they're really good at it.

My best word of advice to you is to just do your best and don't get too stressed if your little boy is upset. Maybe while you're right there by the chair, another adult in your party can do all of the picture taking. Even if your little one is not a super happy camper during the haircut and in the photos, the memories you will have is what you want to take with you. Now that my youngest child is almost a teenager, it's really fun to have those conversations about the things they liked and didn't like when they were little!

I sure hope this helps, Lori! Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
