We will be coming next fall with our 4 1/2 son and 3 yo daughter. Trying to decide between Carribean Resort standard room or paying more for suite at new Art of Animation which I know the kids will love. Do you think the extra 100/night would be worth it?

    Hi Corie!

Only you can decide if the extra $100.00 a night is worth it, but based on the concept art Disney has released on the new Art of Animation Resort, it looks like it's going to be spectacular.  It's also going to be the newest resort at Walt Disney World, while the Caribbean Beach Resort is the oldest Disney Moderate Resort.

My recommendation is, if it's your first visit to Walt Disney World, then I would save the money.  Walt Disney World will be fabulous in your kids' eyes regardless of which resort you stay in.  Also, the pool at Caribbean Beach Resort is a lot of fun and beats (in terms of fun) all of the pools at the existing Value Resorts.  I will tell you that my favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside, followed by Port Orleans French Quarter.  My favorite Disney Value Resort is Pop Century.  Of course, Pop Century might be displaced when the new Art of Animation resort opens!

Good luck with your decision and write back with more questions!
