We are coming from New Zealand at the end of August, we have one day at Disneyland and one day at California park. We arrive in the afternoon and was hoping to spend the evening at Disneyland after we arrive, can you buy an evening pass?

    Hello, Amanda!

Welcome to planDisney, you've traveled a long way to find us! I'm so excited that you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort soon, there is lots to celebrate this year in the parks.

Currently the only ticket options are for full days, unless you're attending a special event like Disneyland After Dark. Instead of a few evening hours in the parks, I would suggest making a dining reservation for dinner in the Downtown Disney District, maybe enjoy some shopping or exploring around the Disneyland Resort Hotels (they have such cool lobbies). Then get to bed early so you can be at the parks bright and early with plenty of energy!

With one day in each park I would take advantage of Disney Genie+ Service so you can use Lightning Lane queues and minimize your waits! I also recommend aiming to be at the park 30 to 60 minutes before park opening, so that you can "rope drop" and visit popular attractions before the day gets busy. With a full day, we like to take a break for a late breakfast or early lunch in a cool place like the Golden Horseshoe or Alien Pizza Planet to recharge. Don't forget to bring a portable phone charger so that you can use the Disneyland Mobile App to guide your day, too!

Amanda, I'm wishing you a safe and pixie-dusted journey! Enjoy your time in the parks!

    Keep moving forward!
