Hi - What will be coming new to WDW between now and April 25, 2020? Also is there an extra cost for the Epcot Flower Garden Festival in April 2020? Or does my park ticket cover this additional event?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa!

It is always an exciting time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, but there is so much happening right now and we are going to see so many new attractions, shows, and restaurants in the near future that I can't help myself from going back pretty frequently to check out what's been added since my last trip! You sound eager to take in all the brand new stuff for yourself, so let's chat about what will be going on when you visit in the spring.

The first new thing to arrive between now and your vacation will be on December 5 with the opening of the brand new attraction at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. I visited Batuu on the week it opened this past August and I was lucky enough to get a peek inside this new attraction while it was being built and I can say with confidence that you will not want to miss it, whether you're a huge Star Wars fan or not!

Epcot is currently undergoing a historic transformation and we'll be seeing a lot of new attractions, entertainment, and food there in the new few months too! There's the brand new nighttime spectacular to enjoy, Epcot Forever, which debuted at the end of September. World Showcase and Future World will also see some new on-screen experiences debut in early 2020 like the new film in the Canada Pavilion, Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360, the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along coming to the France Pavilion, and Awesome Planet, a film that will showcase the natural beauty of Earth. A few dining experiences will be added as well, so be on the lookout for more news about Space 220 and Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue. You'll also be visiting during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, which is included in the price of your ticket! There will be Outdoor Kitchens set up for you to purchase tasting-sized portions of some incredible gourmet food and beverages, but other than that you can enjoy the topiaries and garden exhibits, the Garden Rocks Concert Series, and more at no additional charge.

I hope this answers your questions, Lisa, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
