We are coming 11/5-11/10. Do we need to buy a fireworks package to be able to view or are there designated areas to watch and if so where at Magic Kingdom or Epcot?

Hi Kim! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You will be enjoying the fireworks spectaculars at the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days! What a special time to look forward to. I know you are excited!

While the fireworks packages offer designated viewing locations and save you from having to stake out a good spot in advance, you do not have to have a package to view the fireworks! For Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom Park, you can watch the fireworks from in front of the castle or on Main Street, U.S.A. for excellent views. This is a large area, but does get crowded! Grabbing a snack, then finding a spot to sit and wait for the fireworks is a great idea.

Over in Epcot, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth can be viewed from anywhere around World Showcase. Since the show takes place in the middle of World Showcase, the viewing locations circle the entire area! You'll see Guests begin to line up along the rails, towards the water, about 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to the start of this nighttime spectacular. My family likes to grab a dessert at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France pavilion before finding our viewing location in that same area. It is a fun AND yummy tradition!

I hope this helps with your planning, Kim! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have.
