We are coming for MNSSHP and I'm having trouble coming up with costume ideas. Looking for some help, disney theme of course. Three adults (2F, 1M) and 1 child (my 3 year old daughter). Any ideas?? Will have to pack in suitcase unless I buy there.

    Jody:

Make some room in your suitcase! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is much more fun when you come in costume. (And keep in mind that adult costumes are almost non-existent in the Disney stores, so you'll want to plan ahead of time.) Disney recommends wearing a costume that is "child-friendly" (not scary....get it?) and one that doesn't obligate you to wear a mask that will obstruct your face and vision.

Toy Story provides lots of options for your group of four as well as Peter Pan if you choose him, Wendy, a lost boy or Indian, and your daughter as Tinkerbell. Cinderella could be your theme if one of you dressed as the Fairy Godmother along with the Prince and your daughter as a mouse. I recommend that you google Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and look at the hundreds of photos from the party to see how elaborate some costumes appear yet others are wonderfully simple. A quick search can really get your creative juices flowing!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
