We are coming in mid October. Where can we find a printable version of the most up to date guide map for Disneyland and Disney California adventure?

    Hi Brianna,

Welcome to planDisney! On opening day, Walt Disney said, “To all who come to this happy place: Welcome. Disneyland is your land.” To truly make Disneyland your land, the best thing to do is study the map! That way, when you arrive, you’ll feel confident and ready to embark on your magical adventure.

I have good news: printable park maps are available for both Disneyland and California Adventure. These downloadable PDFs are perfect for printing at home to help you plan your visit. They’re great tools for getting familiar with the layout of each park.

You can also access park maps online and in the Disneyland mobile app. If you’re browsing online, go to the “Things to Do” tab and scroll down to “Activities and Entertainment.” You’ll find maps for both Disneyland and California Adventure. These maps also include the Downtown Disney District and the three on-site resorts: the Disneyland Hotel, the Grand Californian, and Pixar Place. The interactive version is especially handy when planning your day!

When you arrive at the parks, there is also a Family Adventure Map available. This special map is designed for families with young children. It’s a helpful tool for finding kid-friendly dining, knowing what to expect on rides, and locating companion restrooms. My little one is 4, and during our last visit, she loved using the Family Adventure Map to find characters throughout the park. It kept her engaged while we waited in lines! These maps should be available at the map kiosks near the park entrance. If you don’t see them there, ask a Cast Member at a Guest Services booth, and they’ll be happy to help.

One final reminder: your trip falls during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort (August 22 through October 31). Over at California Adventure, Plaza de la Familia will also be in full swing from August 22 through November 2, celebrating the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos. Be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog for a full overview of the spooky season celebrations—and don’t miss the Foodie Guide for all the yummy seasonal treats!

I hope this was helpful, Brianna! If you have any other questions while planning your magical trip, feel free to write back to me or reach out to any of my fellow panelists; we’d be happy to share more tips.

    Have a spooktacular trip!
