Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! This is one of my family’s absolute favorite events of the year. Between seeing the Headless Horseman gallop down the parade route, watching
Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, and collecting more candy than you can possibly imagine, it really is such a treat. My family also loves dressing up for the party. Last year, we went as the Ghost Hosts from
Haunted Mansion, and it made the night even more fun!
So, let’s get dressed up and jump right into your costume question. You will be happy to know that as long as your costume follows Disney’s costume guidelines, you should be good to go. Some of the guidelines include costumes that do not contain sharp or pointed objects; layered costumes or props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening; and costumes that do not reach or drag on the ground. rules here. As long as your dress follows those guidelines, it sounds like you will be ready to join in on all of the spooky fun!
Kari, I also have one quick trick-or-treating tip for you. Bring a larger bag! I am not kidding when I say you can leave the party with loads of candy. Disney does provide a trick-or-treat bag, but I love having a bigger one with me so we can consolidate everything as the night goes on. Your future self will thank you when your bag starts looking like Oogie Boogie’s stash!
