We are coming on May 18th for SWW with our 5 yo. Should we keep our 8:20 ADR or cancel? We mostly want to see the characters and try for Jedi training, we are not interested in the celebrity autographs. Do you think the ADR is beneficial or a time waster?

    Hi Kara!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

I don't know if you are referring to a breakfast ADR or a dinner ADR, so I'm going to answer both.

If it is a breakfast ADR, I suggest cancelling or postponing it to later in the day.  That's because you will want to be outside Disney's Hollywood Studios before it opens but close to the entrance turnstiles.  To get in a good position you need to arrive between 45 and 30 minutes before the official park opening time.  That's because around 15 minutes before park opening Storm Troopers will come out and entertain the guests.  Once you do get inside the park, you will want to head straight to the Jedi Training Academy sign in area.  Be sure to bring your young Jedi with you as they won't let an adult just sign up a child.  After that, you will be good to go!  Be sure to watch the parade and the Hyperspace Hoopla at the end of the day.

If it is a dinner ADR, then I think you are fine!  I wouldn't make any changes unless your dinner ADR overlaps with Fantasmic and you really want to see Fantasmic!

I hope this help!  Please write back with more questions!
