We are coming in May 2021 and staying at the Pop Century and wanted to know how long it takes for the Sky Liner to go from the resort to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios? Are the cars air conditioned?

Hey there Barbara and welcome back to planDisney! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by with another question for us, and that you’re looking ahead to a visit to Walt Disney World next spring!

I recently had the chance to stay at a resort right on the Disney Skyliner route, and it was incredible! The feeling of floating through the air on the way to adventures beyond our imagination was truly incredible. Disney’s Pop Century Resort has an incredibly easy access point to the Disney Skyliner that will make it so easy for you to visit both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios! I spoke with Guest Services regarding your specific question and they shared with me that the trip to EPCOT will take you approximately 15 minutes and the trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios about 12 minutes. It's the same as having wings!

While on your magical flight to Neverland, you won’t find air conditioners on board, but there are vents at the top of each gondola that let fresh air in constantly, and since the gondolas are constantly in motion, it stays very cool and comfortable during the ride! The feel of the wind in my hair and the amazing views made my first and only Skyliner trip incredibly comfortable and enjoyable, and I hope that yours is the same!

Barbara, do come back and see us again anytime that we can help you sprinkle pixie dust for yourself and your loved ones! Meanwhile, check out the "Know Before You Go" pages to learn more about what to expect on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
