Hi, I am coming in May with my sister who is turning 50 the day before we arrive. she has never been and I want her to have a great time. we have ADR at crystal palace, hollywood and vine, trails end and coral reef. do you think these are good choices?

    Hi Patrice,

What an amazing occasion to be celebrating at Disney World, your sister's 50th birthday! How great that she is finally going to be able to visit the most magical place in the world for her special milestone.

Those are some fantastic dining choices. Crystal Palace and Coral Reef are two of my family's favorite restaurants and always on our list of choices when visiting Disney World. We just recently dined at Trails End and the boys loved the down on the ranch- western feel to the restaurant and the grub was mighty tasty too. Hollywood and Vine is a delicious buffet with a little of the glitz and sparkle of Hollywood. Most of these choices are buffet locations so you will both be able to have a great selection of food available if you happen to be a picky eater.

If you have a little extra spending money, you may want to arrange for a special birthday cake for your sister. You can call the Disney Cakes at 407-827-2253 to discuss the various options. There are also some great in room celebration packages that the Dream Makers at Disney Florist can help you with. You can reach them at 407-827-3505. I have been the lucky recipient of a few of their fabulous gifts and words can't describe the excitement of opening the resort room door to this surprise.

Wishing you both a trip full of memories and magic!
