I am coming in May. If I make a park reservation for Magic Kingdom but leave the park at some point during the day am I guaranteed reentry for a dining reservation later?

That trip is coming up soon, April. I bet you’re counting down the days!

One of my favorite touring strategies is to arrive at a theme park at opening and experience the most popular attractions early in the day, while all the night owls are still snoozing. We’ll then leave the park for a leisurely lunch and maybe a swim before returning to the park in the late afternoon for an evening of fun. I’m happy to tell you, April, that this strategy is perfectly acceptable, even with the current health and safety guidelines in place. The theme park reservation acts sort of like a placeholder and allows you to return after a break. Rest assured that you will be readmitted to the same theme park where you hold a reservation.

Since you’re visiting in May, I wanted to encourage you to visit the Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. Are you a foodie? The festival’s Outdoor Kitchens are perfect for grazing your way around the World Showcase, trying bites and sips here and there. The inventive topiaries, too, are a must see!

I hope you have a fabulous trip, April!
