Hi Nick and
bienvenue to planDisney.
How exciting that you're planning to visit
Disneyland Paris this May and let me start off by saying that you have picked a great time to visit as you'll be able to experience the brand-new
Disney Music Festival during your stay!
Going back to your question, Nick, it is possible to purchase
Special Rate tickets for Military personnel directly from the UK version of the Disneyland Paris website. If the price is coming up in US dollars rather than GBP, you will need to change the Country/Region. This can be done by clicking on the icon at the top right hand corner of the Disneyland Paris website where it shows the US dollar symbol, selecting change country/region and then clicking on United Kingdom. Once you have done this, you should see a Union Jack symbol where the US dollar symbol had been previously.
You should now be able to purchase a maximum of 5 Special Rate tickets in GBP. Do however bear in mind that your Son will need to present your E-tickets and an official military ID card to enter the Disney Parks. Only a government issued military ID card from the United Kingdom, the United States, or France will be accepted as proof of military service on the day of your visit.
If you would like to use your Daughters Fiance's
Blue Light Card, this can only be done when booking with the
Walt Disney Travel Company. In this situation, you can make your booking on their website, then, email your 8-digit booking reference to disneytraveluk@disneyonline.com alongside the Blue Light Card code available at the date and time you made your booking. Their Disney Experts will then apply your discount to the booking and issue you with an updated invoice.
I hope that this has answered your question, Nick and that you're able to take advantage of one of these discounts. If we can be of any further assistance with the planning of of your trip, please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, where we will be only too happy to help.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
