We are coming in March 2012 and trying to get dining ideas. Can you suggest great spots that are good for a kids as well (age 9/7). We have Ohana and Chef Mickeys on the list. What else is great? Just 1 dining credit we want to use! Thanks!!!

    Hi Jennifer,

My family have eaten at many of the restaurants which participate in Disney's Dining Plan and with so many to choose from, it is not always easy to decide which restaurants to visit.

I have called in the expert (my 8-year-old son) to help answer your question and here are our top 2 recommendations:-

1/ Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort
This is a somewhat rowdy family-style restaurant which is a lot of fun for all the family. Children can participate in a stick pony ride around the restaurant, all Guests are invited to join in some good old fashioned dancing and whatever you do, don't forget to ask for ketchup.

2/ Teppan Edo in the Japan Pavilion at Epcot
At this restaurant, Teppan Chefs cook dishes on grills right at your table. It is very fun and entertaining to watch and the food is delicious.

I hope that this has been of help and we both wish you a magical trip!
