Coming in March, looks like my family will be staying at the PO resort. What great things does this resort offer? Can we visit other resorts like the caribean?

I'm a big fan of Port Orleans, Trisha.  The grounds are lush and gorgeous and both Riverside and French Quarter offer country charm, though each with completely different feels.  You don't mention which of the two sister resorts you are staying at, so it's difficult to tell you precisely what to expect when you arrive.  That said, I can tell you that both resorts offer transportation via ferry to Downtown Disney; it's a fun way to get there.  Guests of Port Orleans also have the unique ability to "pool hop" by visiting the pools at either Riverside or French Quarter.  Port Orleans French Quarter is the only place to find those delicious beignets while Port Orleans Riverside boasts the entertaining musical offerings of resident piano man, yehaa Bob.  No matter which resort you've chosen, you're in for a real treat, Trisha.  And yes, you are more than welcome to visit any of the Disney resorts to look around, or stop in for a meal.  Enjoy your trip!
