Hi there, Amber! It's wonderful to see you back at planDisney with another great question!
March is such a nice time for a
Walt Disney World Resort visit! During this time of year, the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full swing, and the Florida weather is practically perfect in every way! As you get ready for your vacation, it's always a good idea to keep the theme park hours in mind while making your plans, so let's chat about that today.
You can find the Walt Disney World theme park hours using your
My Disney Experience mobile app or the online
hours and events calendar. Park hours are typically listed around two months in advance, so you can expect to find the specific hours listed for your trip dates shortly after the first of the year. Theme park hours are always subject to change, so it's difficult to speculate as to what you'll find during your visit.
In general, 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. are fairly standard theme park hours. You might see some of the parks, in particular
Magic Kingdom Park, stay open a bit later during busy times such as holidays and spring break season. Also, it is typical for
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to close a bit earlier in the evenings than the other theme parks. However, these are simply trends that we have seen in the past. You'll certainly want to check on specific theme park hours as it gets closer to your trip.
If you're looking for ways to maximize your time in the theme parks, staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel is a great way to do so. Disney Resort Hotel Guests can take advantage of
early theme park entry for an extra 30 minutes in all of the theme parks every day. Also, if you happen to be staying at a
Disney Deluxe Resort or a
Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, you'll have the added benefit of
extended evening hours at select theme parks on select nights.
No matter what the theme park hours end up looking like in March, we want your time in the parks to be nothing short of magical! If you have any other questions as you plan for your vacation, please don't hesitate to ask. My fellow
planDisney panelists and I are all ears!
See ya real soon!
